Blue Jays hold on to win second title in three years

The Hopkins men's lacrosse team took the national title in a hotly contested match against the Duke Blue Devils today in Baltimore. The Blue Jays built a commanding early lead but nearly lost it in the second half, narrowly winning the game 12-11. The Blue Jays' title run followed a mid-season three-game losing streak after which even making the playoffs had seemed questionable. Beating the odds, the Blue Jays came back to win their second national title in three years.
